De la dissimulation à l'alphabétisation: les nouveau lecteurs

Cet article examine les rapports entre l'alphabetisation et le processus de lecture, selon trois angles differents. La premiere partie cherche a degager certaines implications de la deficience en lecture, comme les strategies de dissimulation de l'analphabetisme. La deuxieme partie etudie les differentes conceptions de la lecture utilisees en alphabetisation et tente de mettre en evidence la specificite de l'apprentissage de la lecture chez les adultes. La troisieme partie analyse un repertoire de titres pour «nouveaux lecteurs» ainsi qu'un recit destine aux adultes engages dans un processus d'alphabetisation.
This article examines the relationship between illiteracy and the reading process, from three different angles. The first part tries to draw some implications of reading deficiency, such as dissimulation strategies of illiteracy. The second part studies the different conceptions of reading used in literacy courses and tries to bring to the fore the specific way in which adults learn. The third part analyses a list of titles for "new readers" and presents a narrative intended for adults involved in a literacy process.
