Les fillières de formation professionelles par apprentissage au Québec: État de la situation et enjeux de l'évolution actuelle

RésuméEn formation professionnelle et particulièrement en apprentissage, le Quebéc est à la croisée des chemins. Non seulement parce que l'ensemble du système de formation est en pleine mutation, mais aussi parce que les filières d'apprentissage se questionnent à leur tour sur le sens de leur action et se cherchent de nouvelles avenues. Comme partout, le passé a profondément marqué les mentalités en matière de formation professionnelle, de formation en entreprise et de formation par apprentissage et laisse des traces évidentes de son emprise sur la réalité actuelle. Alors qu'à partir de deux filières existantes, l'apprentissage s'engage dans un effort de revalorisation, de réinterprétation et de remodelage, dans le même temps, deux nouvelles voies se sont ouvertes, créant des perspectives nouvelles et des enjeux inattendus. L'auteur livre id un instantané de la situation, mais aussi quelques indices qui permettent de saisir au vol vers quelle direction se destine cet apprentissage renouvelé.
In Quebec, vocational training and apprenticeship are at a cross-roads. The training systems are in full mutation and their stakeholders are inquiring into the new meanings associated with their actions. Current attitudes towards job-related training and apprenticeship can be traced to their evolution throughout the past. Within two existing settings, apprenticeship has been reinterpreted, remodeled, and revalued, and this has led to the emergence of new, unexpected perspectives and issues. This article provides a snapshot of the situation, as well as some insight into the possible future developments in apprenticeship.
